Keep Building the Coomera Connector

As the former Planning Chair of the Gold Coast City Council, I know how important it is to have a long-term vision for our growing city.

The former Liberal National Government funded a business case to progress future stages of the Coomera Connector.

Unfortunately, Labor is putting those future stages in doubt.

At the same time Labor’s looking to bring in 1.5 million more people into Australia, they’re also cutting back on infrastructure and reviewing road projects needed to ease congestion across Queensland.

This includes the next stages of the Coomera Connector.

Labor’s priorities are all wrong. The Coomera Connector is one of more than 100 projects across Queensland put at risk by the federal Labor Government.

Congestion on the northern Gold Coast is already keeping you stuck in traffic for longer, taking time away from friends and family.
